Policies on School Fees

 

1. It is understood that a student normally enrolls for the entire school year, and all fees for the entire school year are due and payable upon enrollment unless other arrangements are made upon enrollment and agreed to by the parent/guardian and admission director. 

2. Fees will not be pro-rated for part of a quarter, regardless of the number of days attended. 

3. Newly enrolled student should pay complete school fees upon enrollment. 

4. MIT International School only accepts school fees in cash or cheque acceptable in the Philippines (currencies accepted: Pesos and US Dollar. Payment in Korean Won can be done by opening an international student's bank account.) 

5. Charge for late payments - A penalty assessment of 2% per month (cumulative) will be billed on fees not paid within 30 days from due date. 

6. If a student withdraws from the school within 7 days from the start of classes, he/she shall be entitled to a refund of 75% of tuition fees paid. All other fees paid are NON- REFUNDABLE. Refund of tuition fee can only be made upon full payment of school fees for current year/semester/quarter. 

7. All other fees are due and payable on or before July 1, or upon enrollment, whichever is applicable. 

8. Sibling discount of 5% from second child onwards (tuition fee only). 

9. Students who have an outstanding balance at the end of the quarter will not be issued their report cards or any other documents needed for enrollment at other institute and will not be re-admitted the following year. 

10. Checks will no longer be accepted from those who have issued "Check Dishonored" by banks for insufficient funds, closed accounts, and other reasons. 

11. For bank transfer payments, please ensure the student's name on your remittance. Kindly email your bank confirmation slip to finance@mitis.edu.ph. All bank charges are to be borne by the remitter. The School accepts US Dollar payment based on daily conversion rates.
