English Program
The field of English combines Language and the use of the imagination. Language is the means of an individual to define reality as well as help shape individuals' understanding of themselves and the world. And it is the imagination that aids in making meaning of the language that is learned. English is about the interaction with and reflection of texts, language, people, and the world.

Developing a proficiency in English enables the students to take their place as critical, imaginative and reflective thinkers, effective communicators and active, lifelong learners in not only the local setting, but a global setting as well. It encourages them through different avenues to be a citizen of the world.

Math Program
It is mathematical knowledge that has fueled the fires of technological advances and it is those very technological advances that generate new and more complex mathematics. The task then of mathematics education becomes one of helping students to understand how to learn mathematics, how to problem solve, and how to acquire the automaticity with skills and procedures necessary for problem solving.

It is imperative that MITIS students be able to do complex mathematical operations. With predictions that a majority of MITIS students will pursue educational endeavors in top local and foreign universities, it is necessary that they be equipped with mathematical backgrounds that will allow them to do this. Our students need to be confident in their mathematical abilities and they need to have the mathematical knowledge necessary to fit them for the future.

Science an Technology Program
Throughout history, the progress of mankind was largely due to the various accomplishments and advances wrought by science and technology. Science itself is the yardstick for the measure of man's intellectual power and a beacon of man's future potentialities. Education in the sciences therefore is absolutely paramount in today's frenetically changing world. The capability of an individual to succeed despite the challenges facing him is hinged greatly in the competence of thinking that the study of science can bring. The science program that this school is relying heavily upon, aims this full cognitive development of the individual student.

Social Studies Program
Social Studies are the integrated study of the social sciences and humanities to promote civic competence. With predictions that a majority of MITIS students will pursue educational endeavors in top local and foreign universities, it is necessary that they be equipped with global perspective that includes knowledge, skills, and commitments needed to live wisely in a world that possesses limited resources and that is characterized by cultural diversity.
