Back Wins Back-to-Back Golf Titles

Seung Hyeon Back, Grade 9 student of MIT International School, bagged two championship titles in recently concluded golf tournaments.

He snatched the winning title in the Sta. Lucia Amateur Open held at the Summit Point Golf and Country Club last August 11-13, where he bested 7 other players in the the Class A Division. A week later, Seung Hyeon prevailed in the TJGL School Season Golf Tournament 2016, where 12 players, ages 15 to 18, from different schools vied for the title. The competition, which participated by students from Brent International School, Reedley International School, Singapore School Manila among others, started last June 12 and closed on August 21 with Back claiming the champion's trophy.
